In Nigeria for the evaluation of Connecting Classrooms

This photo shows Jonathan France (Ecorys), Oscar Odena (Robert Owen Centre) and students and staff at Community High School, Alapere Ketu, Lagos, Nigeria, after a repeat school visit for the impact evaluation of Connecting Classrooms. Oscar and Jonathan were in Nigeria between the 25th of February and the 6th of March 2018. They observed lessons and interviewed teachers and students in five schools, most of which were first visited in 2017. They also met with programme facilitators and policy makers including from the Federal Ministry of Education and the Nigeria Education Research and Development Council. The final report to the funder, British Council, is due later this year.
