The GEM Report 2017/18: Accountability in Education

Dr Samantha Ross, International Programme Director

Link Community Development International

Accountability in Education in Action: Accountability is fast becoming an essential component of strong and successful education systems and for the past 25 years has been a core focus of Link Community Development’s work. We will explore ‘Accountability in Action’, looking at the roles of communities, schools and local and national governments, sharing approaches and findings that support improved learning for all. Link’s work is featured in UNESCO’s recent Global Monitoring Report ‘Accountability in education: meeting our commitments’ and the session will explore accountability in relation to this report. http://www.lcdinternational.org/
